Re-Elect Nate Liedl for Clerk of Court on November 3, 2026!
Help collect signatures!
Nate needs at least 200 signatures just to appear on the ballot for Clerk of Circuit Court. You can support this effort by printing the official nomination form from the image below and helping collect signatures.
When asking someone to sign, it’s important to let them know that signing the form does not mean they’re voting for Nate. It simply helps ensure he has the opportunity to appear on the ballot and be part of the election. People who sign are not making a political commitment—they're just supporting the democratic process by helping a candidate qualify.
Anyone who signs the form must live in Chippewa County and be eligible to vote, though they do not need to be registered or plan to vote in the upcoming election.
Some individuals may hesitate to sign, especially if they belong to a different political party. If that comes up, you can explain that although the Clerk of Circuit Court is elected through a partisan process, the role itself is non-political. The Clerk does not make laws, raise taxes, or engage in any political decision-making. It’s an administrative position focused on managing court records, schedules, and procedures.
Thank you for helping make sure voters have a choice this election. Your support makes a real difference!
"Only qualified electors of the jurisdiction or the district the candidate seeks to represent may sign the nomination papers. Each signer must also legibly print their name. Each elector must provide their residential address (no P.O. Box addresses), including any street, fire or rural route number, box number (if rural route) and street or road name and municipality of residence. A post office box number alone does not show where the elector actually resides. The name of the Municipality of Residence must be listed for each signing elector and must clearly identify the town, village or city where the elector's voting residence is located. The date the elector signed the nomination paper, including month, day and year, must be indicated. Ditto marks that follow correct and complete address or date information are acceptable. The circulator may add any missing or illegible address or date information before the papers are filed with the filing officer."
